Murder One Classes
NOVEMBER, 2015 MURDER ONE (LEO & TECHNICAL EXPERT COURSES), DAN AND JAXINE BUBIS. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AND RESCUE TECHNIQUES, AMBULANCE AND SEARCH AND RESCUE.
In this workshop we will present realistic information about medical emergencies and rescue techniques to enhance your actions sequences and help you build plot and character. We will give an overview of trauma and medical emergencies, signs and symptoms (what your character will look like), life threats, some general treatments, etc. For example: How far can my hero walk with a broken leg? How far do you NEED him to walk? If you need him to walk a long way, then he’ll need a really good splint job. If you need him to NOT walk a long way, then break a bigger bone, add to the trauma or have no splinting available.
Bios: Dan Bubis was an EMT in the high mountains of Colorado. He worked on a rural ambulance service and also on Search and Rescue. He now teaches CPR.
Jax was an EMT and has worked on an ambulance and on Search and Rescue. She teaches CPR, is a small business owner and a published author.
Tread lightly...But know that while we are all working together here, the conversation can turn quickly to death, destruction and mayhem. And we are fine with that. We'll even abet you as you work to do the same, to become the best spinner of romantic mysteries and thrillers that you can be. So come on in, the water's warm...as blood.
