Her latest thriller, LAST KNOWN VICTIM, will be released in October 2007.

 

EC Sheedy - author of romantic suspense for Kensington Publishing. Her next two books, WITHOUT A WORD and KISS TOMORROW GOODBYE are both 2007 releases.

 

Technical Experts

Margie Lawson - Counseling Psychologist, merges her two worlds, psychology and writing, by developing in-depth editing techniques for writers.  Her presentations include: The EDITS System and Deep Editing, Empowering Characters’ Emotions and Defeat Self-Defeating Behaviors. 

Lt. Danny Agan - completed 29 years with the Atlanta Police Department in 2003; experiences include assignments in Narcotics, Sex Crimes, retiring as the commander of the Homicide Squad.

Literary Agents

 

East Coast: Miriam Kriss - joined the Irene Goodman Literary Agency just as she was finishing her master’s degree in Fine Arts at New York University.  Miriam knows the market because she is the market. Sales to major publishers include a recent mid-six-figure deal for a first-time author, and her client list continues to grow.

West Coast: Scott Eagan - created Greyhaus Literary Agency in Pullayup, Washington with a single goal in mind – to represent exclusively single-title romance writers. By focusing exclusively on this market, Scott has found that he can provide stronger one-on-one service to his writers.

Cost for Retreat:

     Registration closes after September 15, 2007

Meals included in Retreat Fee are: Friday evening dessert buffet, Saturday’s continental breakfast, lunch and supper buffet, and Sunday’s breakfast buffet.

   Identify yourself as registering to attend the KOD Retreat.  There is a block of 20 rooms reserved for retreat participants at $135.00 to 155.00 per night.
